I am excited to share a recent project that reflects both my passion and purpose as a wellbeing, resilience, and positive mindset speaker. Through the renowned speaking agency School Speakers, the global multi-school organisation Nord Anglia Education approached me to create a dedicated, accessible video for the students across their network of 80+ schools worldwide—spanning the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.

This video content collaboration forms part of Nord Anglia Education’s coordinated initiatives for Children’s Mental Health Week, a time dedicated to equipping young people with tools that support their emotional wellbeing, confidence, and personal development. To be invited to contribute to such an important global effort is a responsibility I greatly value.

Their brief was clear and meaningful:
Create an expert-led video offering practical, engaging strategies to help students strengthen their resilience and boost their confidence in public speaking.

In a world where young people are navigating increasing levels of pressure, expectation, and uncertainty, the ability to stay resilient—and express themselves with confidence—is becoming more important than ever. Nord Anglia Education is known for prioritising student development beyond academic success, and being chosen to support their students during Children’s Mental Health Week is something I am truly honoured by.

Why Resilience Matters in Public Speaking

Public speaking is consistently ranked as one of the top fears among young people. But at its core, the challenge isn’t just about standing on a stage—it’s about self-belief, mental composure, and the willingness to push through discomfort.

In the video, I share strategies that students can begin applying immediately:

  • How to interpret nerves as a source of energy rather than fear
  • How micro-practices in daily life develop long-term resilience
  • How movement, breath and physical awareness support emotional control
  • How to build confidence through small, repeatable actions that strengthen inner belief

These insights are drawn from years of lived experience, coaching, and performance at the highest levels.

My Journey: Resilience Through Movement, Mindset & Performance

My ability to teach resilience did not begin on a stage—it began on a gymnastics mat.

As a former international gymnast, I learned early that resilience is built repetition by repetition, fall by fall, and comeback by comeback. Those foundational lessons stayed with me throughout my career.

As a professional dancer, performing live taught me how to handle pressure, adapt quickly, and stay mentally present regardless of what happened around me. Every performance demanded confidence through movement and a deep understanding of body–mind connection.

As an award-winning entertainment agency owner, working with high-profile corporate and international clients required creative resilience, problem-solving under pressure, and the ability to remain composed in fast-moving environments.

These experiences shaped the unique approach I take today—combining psychology, performance, movement, and mindset to deliver resilience messages that are accessible, practical, and memorable for audiences of all ages.
