Special guest athletes and motivational speakers Fred Afrifa & Courtney Orange from an athletics and gymnastics backgrouds, inspired Northolms Primary School in Horsham West Sussex with their energizing activities.
The Motivation speaker athletes
The athletes Fred Afrifa & Courtney Orange and were brought to the school through the incredible company Sports for Schools. Before the school had their morning assembly, the athletes got the children hyped up and invigorated with their exuberating ENERGY!!
Roughly 160 students in total were motivated when they went through 4 different sets of activity exercises, lasting 1 min long each.
The activities were accompanied by some upbeat music & MASSIVE cheers of encouragement.
Stories of Motivation & Resilience
After the slightly invigorating session of activities the children attended the morning assembly. The SPORTIVATOR and athletespeaker shared their insightful stories on how they achieved successes in their sports through many ups and downs. The resilience needed as an athlete and as a student. What certain things such as gratification, happiness and speaking to someone can do for ones wellbeing & resilience.
WELLBEING Importance
Sweaty brows, heavy breathing and numerous smiles from the students and teachers left the whole school upbeat and enthusiastic to take on the school day ahead.
The general message of Wellbeing and keeping active to live a better healthier life was certainly received through the assembly talk and exercise session.
