Why has Manchester United’s owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe given such an ultimatum for staff to return to the office?
Could it be for a better Mental Wellbeing, PRODUCTIVITY or accountability?

It has been reported that Sir Jim Ratcliffe informed staff that in one of his other companies, email traffic reduced by as much as 20% when they trialled a working from home day.
Returning to the working environment as a team or department enriches the motivation in productivity, to get things done, actioned and completed.

2- MENTAL WELLBEING
Are staff HAPPY or unhappy about this proposal???
On 28 May 2024 it was reported that all non-footballing employees where to be invited to take voluntary redundancy and have until 5 June 2024 to make their decision.
A spokesperson from Manchester United has said: “This isn’t a voluntary redundancy programme. The club recognises that not everyone wants to work from the office full-time so has provided options for staff who don’t wish to return to the office to step away now.”
Could returning FULL time to the office by Manchester United non-football playing employees
- Better their wellbeing and mental health, by being able to interact more with their colleagues, instead of virtually meeting?

Could the return to the office call by Manchester United’s Sir Jim Ratcliff mean that employees and leadership teams would be more accountable in their work loads & tasks?
